Energy typing
before type 1 and 2, a remark about 4.
Did you all notice Stephen's desire to keep our family boards private? (Which I also think is a really good idea) But a type 4 has a deep need and desire for privacy which exceeds the privacy threshold for the other types. It is important that we all honor this with each other, but also that we do realize a type 4 may have a different standard and be uncomfortable with disclosures others wouldn't think twice about.
Type 1 will have lots of energy, but it will be more random. The challenge for them will be to discipline themselves to filter all their impulses, so they actually do (and finish) those tasks which are most important. Also, they will have to have fun! If it gets intense of heavy, a type one will just hate it! Where as a type 3 might thrive on intense, it will kill a type 1. So the type one might need to make a game out of it, or find some way to keep it lighter and more fun. Type 1 is the most social of all the types.
Type 2 (kuddos to David out there!) will be more concerned about their comfort zone. When they stretch and really put themselves out there, they will need more recovery time than a type 1 or 3. On the other hand, they do really well with details and with planning. I think they will be the least challenged with invoicing! Once they get a plan in place, they are the ones who can just stick with it, incrementally moving forward. They do not like to be rushed or pushed, but they can get a lot done because they plan and focus really well. It just doesn't look like burst of energy, it is more slow and steady.
It is really interesting to put all of these together. A team with each working in their strengths could be awesome!
